Star Surf Camps - Oyambre

Star Surf Camps Oyambre sits within Oyambre Natural Park in Cantabria, northern Spain. The campsite combines a stunning mountain backdrop on one side with sea views on the other, offering a unique setting for a surf holiday. Playa de Oyambre is within walking distance from the camp. The camp operates seasonally from early June through late September, hosting an international community of surfers. Accommodation is in bell tents and tipi tents set up on the campsite grounds. The setup is decidedly laid-back - this is camping with a surf focus, not a luxury resort. Daily life at camp revolves around surf lessons on the beach, meals together at the communal dining area, and social activities in the evenings. The camp organizes day trips to nearby Spanish towns, wine and cheese evenings, live music sessions, and sunset gatherings. A dedicated yoga platform with sea views offers morning and afternoon sessions for those who book the surf and yoga package. The surf program caters to all levels, from complete beginners to intermediates looking to improve. Lessons run 90 minutes with qualified ISA/ASI/SGB/FCS-certified instructors who also serve as lifeguards. Theory sessions cover water safety and surf etiquette. Equipment is provided during lessons, with rental available outside lesson times.
