Salinas Surf Camp is located in Salinas, Asturias, on Spain's northern coast. The camp operates from a spacious four-story house distributed across multiple floors with a generous garden, just steps from the beach in the second line of the seafront. The team is led by Jorge, a local Asturian who grew up surfing the waves of Salinas and has over 15 years of teaching experience. As a Level II sports technician, he brings professional expertise combined with genuine passion for the sport. His wife Sara, a professional nurse, manages camp operations ensuring guest safety and well-being. The instructor team includes Alvaro, Alex, Yumey (a Spanish Longboard Federation selector), Sergio, and Aitor, all bringing years of experience and certified instruction. The camp is also home to Gala, their European canine surfing champion who has won titles in 2022 and 2023. Classes are divided by skill level with a maximum of 8 students per instructor, ensuring personalized attention. The camp offers comprehensive surf instruction including theory sessions on wave reading, ocean safety, and proper technique, complemented by video analysis for more advanced students. Beyond surfing, guests can enjoy yoga classes, surfskate sessions, and use of the small gymnasium. The location in Salinas provides easy access to various surf breaks suitable for different conditions and skill levels.
