About
Rural Surf offers an authentic surf experience in Asturias on Spain's northern Atlantic coast. With access to five uncrowded beaches, professional instruction, and a rural surfhouse surrounded by nature, guests enjoy small groups, personalized coaching, and a genuine disconnect from city life. The camp caters to all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced surfers.
Rural Surf was created to share the waves of Asturias with surfers who value quality over crowds. Located in Naveces, on the central coast of Asturias, the camp sits in a rural setting just minutes from pristine beaches that rarely see the crowds common at more famous European surf destinations.
The surf school holds Spanish Surfing Federation certification and offers courses adapted to every level. Whether you're standing on a board for the first time or looking to refine your technique, the instructors know exactly which of the local beaches will work best for the day's conditions and your ability level. Beyond surfing, the camp offers yoga and stretching sessions, functional training adapted to surfing, and alternative activities like surfskate, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and coastal trekking when the waves aren't cooperating.
The Rural Surfhouse is designed for surfers who want comfort without the sterile feel of a hotel. With rooms for two, four, or six guests, a shared kitchen, multiple common areas, an outdoor bar, and a terrace with views of the Cantabrian Sea, it's a place to relax after sessions and connect with fellow surfers. Breakfast is included with all stays, and full or half board options are available. The setting in rural Asturias means you'll wake to birdsong rather than traffic, with the beach just a short drive away.
