North Shore Surf Camp

North Shore Zarautz was born in 2015 from a group of surfers who wanted to share their passion for the ocean and the unique surf lifestyle of the Basque coast. What started as a project filled with enthusiasm has grown into one of the best-rated surf camps in northern Spain, building a large family of surfers united by love of nature and mutual respect. The camp operates on Zarautz beach, a 2.5-kilometer stretch of fine sand that receives consistent waves year-round and has produced numerous professional surfers. The beach offers multiple peaks suitable for all levels, from gentle waves for beginners to more challenging sections for intermediate and advanced surfers. North Shore offers various programs: Adult Surf Camps running Saturday to Saturday during summer, Junior Camps for ages 11-17 with full supervision and activities, weekend surf camps throughout the year, and special camps during Easter, May 1st, and San Juan holidays. Group surf lessons, private coaching, and multi-day courses are also available for those not staying at the camp. All instructors are certified professionals with extensive experience in surf education. They adapt teaching methodology to each student's needs and level, ensuring progression in a safe and fun environment. The school is committed to small groups, professional equipment, and comprehensive insurance coverage. Beyond surfing, the camp organizes activities including skateboard sessions on the local skate park, guided coastal hikes, trips to nearby surf spots, and the famous weekly barbecue that brings guests together. The social atmosphere and family-like environment ensure that visitors leave not just as better surfers, but with new friends and unforgettable memories.
