Good People Surf

Good People Surf runs a summer surf camp in Zarautz, located in Spain's Basque Country just around the corner from Michelin-starred San Sebastian. The camp operates from late June through mid-September on private grounds surrounded by vineyards with mountain views. The 2.5 km beach at Zarautz offers multiple peaks and breaks suitable for all levels, from gentle white water for beginners to quality green waves for more experienced surfers. Daily lessons run in small groups of maximum 6 students, lasting 1.5 hours, with coaches teaching in English, German, Dutch, and Spanish. Accommodation ranges from basic two-person tents to glamping setups with real beds and electricity. The camp welcomes solo travelers, couples, and groups, quickly bringing everyone together through shared meals, evening activities, and the social atmosphere that comes from learning to surf alongside like-minded people.
