The Petersen family established Dreamland as their home and have been welcoming traveling surfers for years. Remi Petersen, the lead coach and host, grew up surfing Jeffreys Bay and has competed on the world stage including the WQS and ISA World Games. His understanding of the local breaks goes beyond what any visiting surfer could discover on their own. The retreat sits directly in front of Super Tubes, one of the longest and most perfect right-hand point breaks on the planet. But J-Bay offers much more than Supers; the coastline holds consistent beginner-friendly waves as well as challenging breaks for experienced surfers. Year-round conditions mean there's always something to surf, and Remi's guiding ensures guests find the right wave for their level. Accommodation ranges from intimate studios perfect for couples to the main house suitable for groups or families. Each option maintains that homely, local feel that sets Dreamland apart from commercial operations. The property includes a deck with ocean views, perfect for checking conditions or enjoying breakfast while watching the sets roll in. Maximum group size is 11 participants, keeping the experience personal and the lineup uncrowded.
