Drop In Surfcamp - Beachlodge

Drop In Beachlodge is the flagship property in the Drop In Surfcamp family—a beautiful house that runs year-round when the other locations close for winter. Eight rooms spread across the building accommodate a maximum of 20 guests, with your surf coaches and team members living under the same roof. The Beachlodge sits almost directly on the beach at Praia do Areal, where Drop In runs its surf station and a proper beach bar operates through the season. The setup includes eight bedrooms (doubles, twins, and four-bed rooms), five bathrooms, an open kitchen, and a common room with fireplace for those cooler winter evenings. What keeps people returning to the Beachlodge is the garden. A large pool, concrete skatebowl, beach volleyball court, hammocks, and enough games to fill the hours between sessions. Breakfast comes included daily with a welcome BBQ on arrival night. Other evenings, the group cooks together in the open kitchen or walks to nearby restaurants. It's communal living done right—social without being forced.
