Zen Surf Morocco is a beachfront surf camp in Taghazout Bay, directly on Banana Beach with front-row views of the iconic Banana Point surf spot. The surf house offers an infinity pool, rooftop terraces, traditional Moroccan lounges, and gardens. With over a decade of experience, the camp runs surf coaching and surf & yoga packages for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced surfers. Small class sizes (max 6 per instructor) and daily yoga sessions complement the surfing. Traditional Moroccan cuisine is prepared fresh daily, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available.
Zen Surf Morocco sits right on Banana Beach in Taghazout Bay - one of the few surf camps in the region with direct beach access. The surf house combines traditional Moroccan architecture with colorful murals and handcrafted decor, creating a unique atmosphere. Guests can relax on the rooftop terrace with panoramic ocean views, lounge by the infinity pool, or unwind in the Moroccan-style common areas.
The location at "Banana Village" puts surfers right in front of Banana Point, a quality right-hand point break suitable for intermediate and advanced surfers. For beginners and those progressing, the team takes students to beach breaks with sandy bottoms around Taghazout Bay.
The daily schedule runs with optional morning yoga at 7:30am, followed by breakfast at 8:30am. Surf sessions typically run from 10am to 4pm, with an afternoon yoga class at 5:30pm before dinner at 7pm. Evenings tend to be social, with guests gathering around the pool or in the courtyard.
Beyond surfing and yoga, the camp organizes excursions to Paradise Valley's natural rock pools, sunset sandboarding on the dunes near Tamri, visits to Agadir's souk, and traditional hammam and massage experiences.
