About
Taydest Surf Camp is a premium all-inclusive surf camp based in Tamraght, Morocco, run by French hosts Emma and Romain. The camp focuses on custom-tailored surf experiences for all levels - solo travelers, couples, groups, and families with kids as young as 4 years old. Two daily surf sessions, video analysis for progression, 4x4 transfers to the best spots based on conditions, and full pension accommodation in a partner surf house 10 minutes from the beach. Season runs October to May, with packages starting from 750 EUR for 7 nights.
Taydest Surf Camp operates out of Tamraght in the Souss-Massa region, partnering primarily with Monza Surf House for accommodation. The camp philosophy centers on flexibility - each day's program adapts to weather conditions, surf forecasts, and what guests actually want to do. Morning sessions typically start with a coached surf lesson, while afternoons offer free surf with guidance available.
The team selects spots daily based on swell, wind, and the group's skill level. They favor uncrowded beaches with sandy bottoms for beginners, while more advanced surfers get taken to reef breaks and point breaks around Taghazout, Tamraght, and Banana Point. A highlight is the full-day excursion to a wild surf spot among the dunes, complete with barbecue lunch on the beach. Depending on conditions, trips to Imsouane (one of Morocco's longest point breaks) are also possible.
Beyond surfing, the camp organizes cultural activities: visits to Agadir's souk, a stop at an argan oil cooperative, and walks through the surf village of Taghazout. Optional extras include camel rides on the beach, quad/buggy tours in the dunes, paragliding, hammam, and traditional massages.
All packages include airport transfers from Agadir, daily 4x4 transport to surf spots, equipment (boards and wetsuits), and full-board meals featuring traditional Moroccan cuisine - tajines, couscous, grilled meats, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
