About
My Surf Hostel is a friendly surf camp in Taghazout Bay, Morocco, operating since 2015. The camp caters to all surf levels with professional instruction, quality equipment, and daily transfers to the best breaks. Beyond surfing, guests enjoy yoga sessions, Paradise Valley excursions, traditional Souk visits, and healthy homemade meals. The hostel contributes 0.5% of revenue to carbon removal initiatives.
My Surf Hostel began in 2015, born from a shared passion for surfing, yoga, sustainable living, and the outdoors. Located in Morocco's legendary surf region of Taghazout Bay, the camp provides access to world-class waves along the Atlantic coast where consistent swells roll in from October through April.
The team focuses on surf progression above all else. Individual training programs, video analysis, and photo feedback help surfers improve rapidly regardless of their starting level. Local ISA-certified instructors who grew up surfing these waters know exactly where conditions are best each day, from gentle beach breaks for beginners to powerful reef setups for experienced riders.
Daily yoga practice complements the surfing, building the flexibility and core strength that translate directly into better wave riding. Sessions take place on the rooftop terrace with panoramic ocean views, followed by healthy meals prepared fresh each day. The kitchen serves Moroccan specialties alongside international favorites, with options for various dietary needs.
Beyond the water, the camp organizes trips to Paradise Valley's natural pools, traditional hammam experiences, and visits to the colorful Agadir Souk. The hostel atmosphere is social and welcoming, attracting solo travelers, couples, and groups from around the world who share stories over communal dinners. Staff work hard to create connections between guests and local Moroccan culture, making stays feel like more than just a surf holiday.
