Founded by passionate surfers, Surfing in Taghazout reflects a deep love for the ocean and the local Moroccan community. Located in the heart of Taghazout, the camp operates three locations in Taghazout and neighboring Tamraght, all within walking distance of the best surf breaks on the coast. The camp provides a complete surf experience with certified instructors who specialize in teaching beginners through to advanced surfers. Lessons take place at spots carefully selected based on daily conditions and skill levels, from the gentle beach breaks at Panorama perfect for beginners to the legendary right-hand point breaks like Anchor Point and Killer Point for more experienced surfers. Morning yoga sessions on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Atlantic help improve flexibility and focus. All meals feature fresh, locally-sourced ingredients prepared by an in-house chef, including traditional Moroccan tagines, couscous, and fresh seafood. Vegetarian, vegan, and special dietary needs are accommodated with advance notice. The surf hostel blends traditional Moroccan design with surfer-friendly amenities including shared and private rooms, free Wi-Fi throughout, and social areas for meeting fellow travelers. The rooftop terrace offers stunning sunset views and serves as the perfect spot for evening relaxation after a day of waves.
