About
Boutique surf and yoga camp in Tamraght, Morocco with a family-like atmosphere, maximum 26 guests. Run by passionate local coaches with daily trips to the best uncrowded spots around Taghazout Bay. All-inclusive packages with homemade Moroccan cuisine.
Melo Surf & Yoga was born from a shared passion for the ocean, slow living, and meaningful travel. After years of dreaming and surfing, co-founders Mehdi (from nearby Anza) and Elora (from Switzerland) found their special place in Morocco to unite people through surfing, yoga, and genuine connection.
The camp consists of two properties: the main Surf Riad and a secondary Surf House just a 2-minute walk away. With a maximum of 26 guests, they prioritize quality over quantity. Every room has been thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind - soft tones, natural light, and minimalist Moroccan vibes. Most rooms feature private ensuite bathrooms, and you will never find bunk beds here.
Days at Melo revolve around the tides and waves. Mornings start with fresh homemade breakfast on the rooftop terrace with ocean views, followed by surf check and the first session of the day. After a beach lunch and more time in the water, evenings are spent stretching with yoga, sharing Moroccan dinners, and watching golden sunsets.
The team includes local surf coaches who grew up in the waves of Taghazout - Mehdi, Youness, and Yahya know every break like the back of their hand. Behind the scenes, Halima, Layla, Hafsa, and Zineb prepare delicious traditional meals daily. And of course, Luna the Labrador mix is always around for cuddles.
What guests consistently mention: small surf groups with personalized coaching, the warm family atmosphere, comfortable beds, delicious food, and leaving as friends rather than customers.
