About
Line Up Surf Camp Morocco is a family-run surf camp in Tamraght, a quiet village just 3 km south of Taghazout and 14 km north of Agadir. Founded by Hisham Akhdad, a local surfer who grew up in the nearby village of Banana, the camp offers surf lessons for beginners, intermediates, and guiding for advanced surfers. The team brings 15 years of experience and local knowledge to help guests find the best waves. Packages include accommodation, daily Moroccan meals, surf coaching, equipment, and transport to the best spots based on conditions. The surf house sits 5-7 minutes on foot from the beach with terrace views and free high-speed WiFi.
Line Up Surf Camp Morocco started from founder Hisham Akhdad's deep connection to the ocean. Born in Taghazout and raised in the village of Banana, Hisham first surfed at age 10 with guidance from his uncle. After finishing high school, he returned to the waves and turned his passion into a career, opening Line Up Surf Camp to share the stoke with visitors from around the world.
The camp sits in Tamraght, a charming Moroccan village with a genuine local atmosphere. Eight surf spots are within easy reach, including Banana Beach, Spider, and Devil's Rock. The team selects the best break each day based on tides and conditions, using their intimate knowledge of the coastline to put guests in the right spot for their level.
Surf programs are tailored to ability. Beginners learn fundamentals with dedicated coaching, video feedback, and progression from white water to green waves. Intermediate surfers work on technique, turns, and reading the ocean. Advanced surfers get guided to point and reef breaks, with local insights on currents, entry points, and the day's best peaks.
The accommodation includes daily Moroccan breakfast and dinner, prepared fresh with vegetarian and vegan options. The surf house features a terrace for relaxation, fiber WiFi (117 Mbit/s), and a welcoming atmosphere where solo travelers, couples, and groups connect over shared meals and surf stories. Extra activities include trips to Paradise Valley, traditional markets, horse riding, and camel trekking.
