About
Atlas Wonders runs surf retreats for all levels out of their Tamraght surf house, five minutes from the beach in Morocco's Taghazout Bay region. They've built the place around two crowds: surfers who want to improve their skills with daily lessons and video analysis, and remote workers looking for a coworking setup with reliable WiFi and ocean views. The camp runs year-round with consistent Atlantic swells and 300+ days of sunshine.
Atlas Wonders occupies a traditional Moroccan building in Tamraght village, converted into a surf house with 24 guest capacity. The setup balances productivity with adventure through a combination of coworking spaces, a rooftop terrace with ocean views, and proximity to world-class surf breaks like Banana Point and Anchor Point.
The team runs three main retreat programs. The Surf & Yoga Retreat pairs daily surf coaching with rooftop yoga and meditation sessions. The Surf Coaching Escape focuses purely on wave progression through intensive instruction and video analysis. For digital nomads, the Surf & Work Escape provides fiber WiFi, dedicated workspace, and flexible scheduling to balance remote work with surf time.
ISA-certified coaches lead all surf sessions, filming guests and reviewing footage to break down technique. Transport runs daily to whichever break has the best conditions - sometimes Banana Point for beginners, Anchor Point for advanced surfers, or trips to Imsouane for its famous long right-hander.
Accommodation options range from private doubles and triples to shared dorms. Every room includes air conditioning, WiFi, and hot showers. Common spaces include a refreshing pool, hammock areas, and a coworking corner. The in-house chef prepares three meals daily - Moroccan breakfast with msemen and harsha, packed lunches for beach days, and communal dinners featuring tagines and couscous. The kitchen handles vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, and dairy-free requests.
Extra activities available include Paradise Valley trips with natural swimming pools, surf excursions to Imsouane, camel rides, quad biking, snorkeling, and traditional hammam sessions.
