Sumatra Surf Resort is one of the most chilled and friendly surf resorts in South Sumatra, situated 30km from Krui at Tanjung Setia. The resort faces Ujung Bocor, the longest and best left-handed reef break in the region - a wave that ranges from heavy dredging barrels to long carveable walls with rides exceeding 200 meters. The resort is nestled amongst towering coconut palms that keep the grounds cool all year round and supply guests with free coconut juice whenever they want. Walking through the shade-covered grounds towards the beach, you'll find the swimming pool, beach deck, and bar - perfect for sunsets or just taking in the view of the waves. Beyond Ujung Bocur out front, there's an endless choice of quality breaks along the coast. Choose from barrelling lefts and rights like Way Jambu (15 minutes south) or Jenny's Right (about an hour north), softer reef breaks like Krui Left (20 minutes north), and endless beach breaks like Mandiri Beach (15 minutes away). The resort can accommodate up to 28 guests at a time and welcomes solos, families, large or small groups, surfers of all ages and skill levels, non-surfers wanting to explore the beautiful area, and businesses and organizations.
