Arrive Nias in the morning, car picks you up and you're out to Asu for lunch and your first afternoon surf session. 5 more full days of surf with double or triple sessions out front at Asu, or double session days off the speedboat at other waves if conditions require. On day 7, get an early surf or enjoy a lazy morning with breakfast, catch the 8am boat out to Nias for the 13:00 flight.

Spend 11 nights at Asu Camp and 3 nights in Lagundri Bay on a strike mission. Lagundri Bay is one of the best right-handers in the world, but can be flat or onshore. The strategy: stay at Asu where it's twice the size and no crowds. When strong NW winds come up and the swell pumps from the south, head to Lagundri for pumping, perfect, mechanical right-hand perfection. Show up when it's firing and bail when it's over - the best way to deal with the Lagundri crowd.
