What to bring:

• Rashguard: Sun protection for long sessions
• Reef-safe sunscreen: Protect the coral

Hazards to know:

• Sharp coral at most Bukit spots (reef cuts are common)
• Strong currents at Uluwatu (cave exit requires timing)
• Sea urchins on the reefs
• Occasional jellyfish (rarely dangerous)

Water quality is generally good. Avoid surfing near river mouths after heavy rains.
