About
Pure Surfcamp Moliets sits in a pine forest just 10 minutes from the beach in France Les Landes region. Full board included, beach volleyball, mini-ramp, boulder wall, and weekly San Sebastian trips. Adults 18+ only, Saturday to Saturday stays.
Pure Surfcamp Moliets occupies a prime spot in the pine forest behind Moliets Plage, one of the most popular surf towns on the French Atlantic coast. The camp caters to an 18+ crowd looking to combine surfing with a social atmosphere, parties, and outdoor activities.
The setup is straightforward. You pick your accommodation level - from igloo tents up to mobile homes with private bathrooms - and everything else is included. Breakfast is a buffet spread with baguettes, cheese, cold cuts, jam, fruit, muesli, and coffee. You make your own lunch packet for the beach. Dinner is a hot meal prepared fresh by the camp kitchen team, always with a vegan option.
When you are not surfing, the camp has plenty going on. The mini-ramp is the social hub where skaters and spectators gather throughout the day. There is a boulder wall, outdoor gym, beach volleyball court, slacklines, and table tennis. The team runs activities most evenings - volleyball tournaments, skate contests, or just hanging out in the chill areas strung with fairy lights.
The surf school runs through Quiksilver and Roxy, with ISA-certified instructors taking groups of maximum 8 to the beach. Courses run either 4 or 5 days, mixing practical sessions in the water with theory on waves, currents, and etiquette. The beach break at Moliets works well for beginners and intermediates.
Nightlife is part of the package. The camp is close to Moliets Plage strip of surf bars, and the team organizes group nights out. The San Sebastian day trip on Wednesdays is a highlight - exploring the Basque city, eating tapas, watching sunset from Monte Urgul, and hitting the bars before the late night drive back.
