Puresurfcamps Seignosse

PURE Surfcamp Seignosse occupies a prime spot in the French surfing heartland, just 200 meters from Les Estagnots beach. This is the epicenter of European surf culture - where the World Surfing Tour stops every October and pros gather at the local cafés. The camp itself is a compact 145 square meter house with only 5 rooms, keeping things intimate. Downstairs, the Pure Surf Café opens onto a wooden terrace where guests mix with local surfers over Augustiner beers and Australian meat pies. The living room has a large flat-screen for movie nights and surf theory sessions. The location puts you between Hossegor and Seignosse, surrounded by long sandy beaches, dunes, pine forests, and a lake. A private path through the garden leads directly to the beach. The neighborhood is residential, quiet, but Le Tube - where the wildest surfer parties happen - is just minutes away. Les Estagnots works for all levels. The waves break over sandy bottom, making it forgiving for beginners while still offering plenty of push for intermediates. When the surf is on, it can get world-class. The camp offers ISA-certified instruction with a maximum 8:1 student-to-coach ratio. Beyond surfing, the area lends itself to exploration. There's a skatepark right behind the dunes, forests for longboarding, and Bayonne's Basque old town an easy day trip away. The camp provides longboards free of charge for cruising the paved forest roads.
