Love Yoga Surf was born from Benjamin Hamon's journey. After years traveling the world chasing waves and living in surf towns like Capbreton and the Basque Country, combined with deep yoga training in India, he returned to his homeland on the Crozon Peninsula - the western tip of Brittany known as the "end of the world" in French. The philosophy here is simple: surfing and yoga are two paths to the same destination. Both demand presence, both connect you to something larger than yourself, both quiet the mind. The ocean is described as "the greatest teacher" - pushing you to grow while rewarding you with pure joy. Yoga provides the stability and tradition to complement the dynamic practice of surfing. Benjamin's approach focuses on conscious teaching. He's not interested in creating specialists, but in helping people develop self-knowledge through direct experience. The goal is "integrated human beings freed from fear" - people who can face life's challenges with intelligence and understanding. Retreats run in small groups to keep the experience intimate and personal. Daily rhythm includes half-day surf sessions where Benjamin guides you to the best spots on the peninsula depending on conditions, plus 90-minute yoga classes covering philosophy, breathwork, mantra, and asana. The cooking is participative and organic, adapted to dietary needs including vegan and gluten-free options. The setting is remarkable - the Crozon Peninsula is a protected natural coastline of dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, and powerful Atlantic swells. Famous spots include Ile Vierge, Pen Hir, and La Palue. It's raw, wild France where the Celtic spirit is still alive.
