Founded by Eki and Helena, Mamawata was born from a belief that women deserve a surf experience built around community, empowerment, and presence. Featured in Condé Nast Traveller and Wavelength as one of the best women's surf retreats, they've cultivated a tribe of "seasters" who return year after year. The FLOW retreat is their signature offering—a 7-day immersion that combines six surf lessons with video analysis, yoga and breathwork sessions, a full spa day, and evening dinners both at the villa and at local restaurants. Chef Casper prepares healthy, locally-sourced meals adapted to any dietary restrictions, elevating the experience beyond typical surf camp fare. Beyond surfing, Mamawata emphasizes presence and connection.
