Surf Camp Australia is one of the original Australian surf camps, running since 1999. Based at Seven Mile Beach in Gerroa (about 2 hours south of Sydney), they offer multi-day beginner to intermediate surf camps with all-inclusive packages that cover accommodation, meals, equipment, and professional instruction.
Surf Camp Australia operates at Seven Mile Beach National Park in Gerroa, a beautiful stretch of coastline that is ideal for learning to surf. The camp has been running for over 25 years and focuses on progressive surf lessons that take beginners from their first whitewater rides to catching unbroken waves.
The camp offers cosy cabin accommodation on site, with meals prepared by camp cooks. All packages include Rip Curl wetsuits and beginner-friendly softboards, plus professional photos and highlight videos of your sessions. Transport from Sydney is included, with pickup from Wake Up Hostel in the city.
What sets them apart is the extended programs, particularly the 5-day Ultimate Experience (designed to give you skills to surf for life) and the 7-day Search adventure that finishes in Byron Bay. The camp maintains a social atmosphere where solo travellers easily connect with other surfers from around the world.
